Hello, my name is Roberta Burgess. I am the Nurse Case Manager and RN Supervisor for Tier One Home Care. Being the oldest of six siblings, caregiving has been at the center of my life. Taking care of family, friends, and the community is at the heart of what I do best. I have been a Registered Nurse for over 30 years with various roles in hospital settings, dialysis, home and hospice care, community clinics and insurance. I am a Certified Case Manager with a BSN from East Carolina University. I provided hands-on care for both parents; my mother, who had kidney disease, was doing dialysis at home along with bilateral extremity amputations. Along with my father, whom I cared for in a hospice setting suffering from lung cancer and other multiple comorbidities. I continued my education at Arizona State University, earning a MHA and a MBA. I strive for excellence in all I do.
